Another fabulous holiday at Lacombe that is over all
too quickly. The house, pool and weather have been fantastic and once
again the children have spent many happy hours in the pool. The canoe,
bicycles and table tennis were also put to good use and we were very
grateful for the sunbeds when it all got too much.

Thank you for providing us with the perfect setting
for our two week holiday. Everything was far better than we could of
hoped for - the pool, the house, the pontoon and the weather. The
fishing was very successful - as well as the table tennis. We
particularly enjoyed the company each evening of a large toad that sat
quite happily at the front door despite being picked up and kissed
continuously. Keith, Lisa, Tom, Michael,

| The house has four large double sized bedrooms
and three bathrooms.
Two of the bedrooms have twin beds and the other two have double beds.
A cot can also be provided upon request. Three bedrooms are located
on the upper floor, one of which is an ensuite with its own private
entrance. There is also a bathroom with bath, shower and WC available.
On the lower floor is the fourth double bedroom, as well as a separate
shower room with WC and basin.
The kitchen is fitted to a high standard with all modern appliances
such as cooker, hob, American fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave,
w/machine and has a large oak dining table that seats eight. The lounge
leads off from the kitchen and has comfortable sofas to relax on,
as well as TV, video and DVD player, which you can also
play CDs on. Double doors lead onto the rear shaded terrace with
barbecue facilities and seating for eight, ideal for those hot summer afternoons!
A second terrace is situated on the south side of the house which
has sunshine all day and leads to the enclosed private pool area
with sun loungers.
Board games, videos, DVDs and table tennis are available at no
extra charge, however, a fully refundable deposit is required. There
is private access to the river where you can relax and enjoy the
view from our pontoon. Large Carp and Catfish are to be found in
the river for those of you who like to fish and a handy tackle shop
for bait and equipment is located in the nearby village of Ste Livrade.
If you prefer to sightsee on the river, canoes can be arranged for
your use. Lacombe is superb for families with children, however,
please be aware that the river front is not fenced off from the
house, so care should be taken with very small children.
